These could be photographs of individuals you ride the train with
everyday. Eyes of the hundreds of people you encounter to and from
work. But they hail from a different type of place, evidenced by
the nature of this web site. After numerous excursions to such now-lonely
locations, I was surprised to meet at last the residents, but saddened
they were strewn so carelessly across the floor. With the hair,
bodies, and clothing, a more complete image is formed. But it is
only a 2-dimensional image, void of substantial detail. Without
names, likes and dislikes, personal histories or favorite stories,
I can only get a tiny glimpse of their personalities by gazing back
into their eyes.
