Threatening rain on this particular day, a dull gray sky sent us through the vines to take cover in the cold hallways of the buildings on these grounds. The exteriors were sealed up tight, but inside, windows and doors popped open left and right. Oddly, the humid air outside couldn't seem to get in. Seeing the warmly stained woodwork did nothing to stop our shivers, in fact, on the mortuary cabinets, the scholarly touch was downright chilling.
